BEACHES
South Kynouria has a coastline of striking variety, where small seaside settlements, organised beaches and quieter spots coexist in harmony. Sampatiki
Sampatiki is a small seaside settlement with a picturesque little harbour and a calm character. Its beach has crystal-clear waters and is ideal for relaxed swimming, while the small church of Panagia lends a special feeling to the landscape. Opposite Sampatiki lies the smaller beach of Theopafto, perfect for a quick dip.
Zaritsi
A large pebble beach before Tyros, known for its crystal-clear waters and the almost permanent absence of waves. The sheltered bay creates the feeling of a lake, especially at the edges of the beach, making Zaritsi ideal for calm swimming and relaxation.
Tigani
Tigani is one of the most organised beaches before Tyros. The green hillside ends in white pebbles and clear waters, while the beach has a beach bar, umbrellas and sun loungers. The atmosphere is livelier, without losing touch with the natural landscape.
Livadi

Poulithra
The beach of Poulithra stretches over a great length and connects directly with the seaside settlement of the same name. The pebbles and clear waters create ideal conditions for swimming, while the ouzeries and restaurants of the area complete the experience with local flavours.
Fokiano
Fokiano is a bay of exceptional natural beauty ending in a beach with thick, smooth pebbles and remarkably clear waters. Access requires a longer drive, but the sense of seclusion and the quality of the sea reward the visitor. A few discreet options for food and an organised section operate in the area, while a quieter, independent experience is always possible, even in the busiest months.
